Sad, but true. When my place got robbed they stole my laptop, 2 cell phones, 2 cameras, (prescription meds???) and a checkbook they wrote about $20k of checks on (I caught the first one I shut down the acccount but he/she/they continued to write them.)
The police never called me once, I had to badger them and that even resulted in NOTHING.
