also good point about the college students not having much money it would be nice to figure out something but your probably right i should stick to the older people.

it depends where you live. if you live in a sophisticated place like nyc or LA then you can charge $15 for a 40 minute walk and people will pay it. If you live in a smaller place then charge $10 for an hour or so.
I think she charged $100 to babysit a dog from friday night to sunday afternoon.
She charged something like $35 to take dogs out on trips to the beach for the whole day. She had 2 vans just for taking dogs on day trips.
She has thousands of clients and exclusive contracts with the four seasons and other hotels to handle the dogs for their guests.
Its really a luxury service and you only deal with people who love to spend money, so you should offer high priced extras on everything and people pay it because they love their dogs and have money to burn.
the thing that sucks though is that her employees were part timers, so once in a while one of them would steal shit from a client, thats why you need the insurance.
youre not going to get a lot of quality people as employees, most of them are in between jobs and working for you for some extra cash and arent serious about the biz.
