People using English as a second language have my utmost respect.
When learning a second (or more) language, it is very important to be able to put over a meaning, and if the listener has empaphy, he will understand what is meant.
Most languages have 3 simple tenses - Correct English has sixteen - Add to those all the passive tenses, then the language becomes quite difficult to learn because the user has nothing like it in his/her own language to translate to.
As for the internet being invented in America...
Actually it came from Switzerland - And the http was invented by a British telecom employee.
Just checking my maps now to see if either are in America!
