yeah they get portrayed that way and often that's exactly what they are. Groupies trying to get paid.
If Kobe did it he deserves to go to jail, but he deserves to bring his best defense possible. It's not right to exclude relevant evidence because you're afraid the accuser's feelings might be hurt. SHE'S the one trying to put HIM in jail, or take all his money. Not the other way around. SHE has to prove his guilt, he doesn't have to prove his innocense.
