I'm not just talking about the rich and famous. Again, I do agree they're under much more scrutiny.
Imagine that it's your father, or your brother or your son though. Not someone rich and in the public eye. The same rape shield laws apply. Any woman or man for that matter can accuse anyone of rape and they're name SHOULD never be released. The accused on the other hand will be in the public eye, not of his own volition, even if he's innocent.
My point is it's no different than someone coming on GFY and talking trash about someone or someone's business. They can do it under an alias and YOU are then required to defend yourself, even if YOU'VE done nothing wrong.
