In answer to the thread topic.... no.
Although I don't drink the pickle juice, I do have uses for it. One of my favorites is to add a good splash of it to my steak marinade. Try it some time, with some nice inside round steak. Marinade it in barbecue sauce, whatever spices you like, garlic etc, and about half a cup to a cup of picle jar juice. Let that steak sit in that in the fridge for a few days and then barbecue it up.
The other use is just to cut up some fresh cucumbers into long slices and put them into the empty pickle jar with the juice, and let them sit in the fridge for a week. Makes damn fine "semi-pickles"..... I love em.
