I use to teach html, and I would start the class of in notepad so they would get the basics and swicth them over wysiwyg editor.
Could not believe how many students wanted to write out the code for a simple rollover when the editor would give clean code with a few clicks.
Thank Software Gods that I don't have to write out html code for basic stuff
