Definitelly a nice place... but I'd recommend you to keep a low profile while living in Brazil, with a house like that they'll probably start planning a kidnap as soon as you step in.
IMO is better to live in a normal sized house or a good flat and spend cash traveling around and stuff like that.

Putting in small words, life is good in Brazil as long as you know how to live. But that feeling of security you have in US and many other places where you can leave your car keys hanging, sleep with windows open... that kind of thing, it just doesn't exist down here.
