Yeah, I wouldn't even try steroids...I want to stay safe. Besides, I'm not looking to get huge. Maybe a little bigger, but stay fast, flexible and get stronger. My primary emphasis is having optimal fight-weight. From my experience, after a certain size, your fighting ability drops dramatically. Of course there's always exceptions. I'm bouncing at a local club on the side, so a few more vanity muscles wouldn't hurt, if for no other reason than intimidation, I suppose.
