And that only counts direct expenses, when you factor in the value of your time dedicated to raising of the child it goes even higher.
Christ you can spend $1,000 a month just buying toys and related entertainment things.
Right there you've got $12k a year just on that alone.

I don't spend $1K on MYSELF in one month. Hell I hardly spend $300 on my own entertainment, food, and other "extras". Who in the hell spends that much money on their kids?
