I don't think nukes are the answer to anything - However....
- We already warned countries whom support terrorism that we'll kick their asses. We done it once, and we've also taken over Iraq. This doesn't seemed to have changed anything.
- What happens when terrorists set off a nuke in downtown LA or Seattle, or fly into a nuclear power plant. Either could make an entire city a wasteland for hundreds of years and cause billions in dollars in damges - not to mention the toll of innocent American lives? How do we come back at them then?
