Hypocrisy has nothing to do with idiocy. Idiocy refers to a state of profound mental deficiency (i.e., stupidity). When your actions contradict your beliefs . . . you are demonstrating your inability to be consistent with your thoughts. This conflict isn't one beyond your "grasp" but an act of a "limited" mental ability. Instead of acting within your beliefs . . . your chimp like mind decides that it is OK to act contrary to your beliefs. This is the sure fire sign that you are a 100% pure idiot.
Only an idiot proclaims them self a "hypocrite" and doesn't try to fight it. Even stupid people recognize their hypocrisy and attempt to change their behavior.
