You say you like to read. Have you read any of the works of C.S. Lewis? He approaches the question from the standpoint of reason, arguing that it is actually more reasonable to believe in God than not to believe. He makes some very interesting arguments. and I promise you that he was a hell of a lot more INTELLIGENT than either you or me.
