June my biz dropped quite a bit...I do mainly design work. It was running hard until June...everyone hibernated for about a month...right now July was really strong, August is looking even stronger..people are trying to get ready for Internext and Fall.
As an Ebay seller biz dropped during the summer, started to pick up right around school and pretty much was strong through Thanksgiving.
I would have last minute shoppers up until Christmas but biz would drop off for about 2 weeks in January and then pick up speed again all the way through Spring.
In the carpet biz my father would experience strong sales all through summer up until Fall...but people spend money on gifts so biz would drop from November to February and then pick up as Spring approached...getting the point yet?
If you think there is no summer slow down for different groups of people and if you think that just because you are experiencing some success that there is no summer slowdown then I'm sorry to say you are naive.

Well considering this is GFY, I assumed we were talking about the adult biz and not the full spectrum of industries across the economy. Obviously some businesses suffer in the summer while others do well (eg. ice cream vendors like Baskin Robbins).... so it sounds like you dont have a summer slowdown either since July/August are looking good. I still think summer slowdown as it refers to selling memberships to paysites is a newbie myth.
