The last time I had a baby my water broke. Cleaned myself up, called husband at the office, told him I would call back if things progressed but if not, I would see him at the regular time. Packed my bag...made lists of where things are, ,what to do while I was gone. Called my mom and sister, chatted for a bit. Did a quick tidy on the house. Husband came home, went to the hospital...I wasn't even in labor yet. They decided to wait the night and see if I went into labor and sent family home. I walked the halls, bored silly...next day they induced me and I gave birth 1:00 pm the next day...about 24 hours after my water broke.

So water breaking is not always a rush and hurry...all depends on if you are in labor too.

Congrats! Good wishes being sent your way and best of luck to mom and baby for a speedy and healthy birth.
