Probably going to buy my daughters mom a car today, but don't want to give her the pink because she often winds up messing up or making bad decisions when it comes to her transportation.

Is there an easy way (in California) that I can just buy the car and delay giving her the pink, but eliminate liability from myself as the owner for awhile?
