Gonna ask the obvious first..
Is there an opt out link? Did you try it? Did you give all affected email addresses to the sponsor rep and tell him, "Look, just make the fucker put me in his REMOVE list or I'm going after YOUR bandwidth." ??
Follow through.
Fact is, some people hate spam and do really try to remove themselves. When that fails, it's fair game.
