They refuse to perform more than one basic test at a time in an attempt to save money. In the end we have spent 4 times the time doing all the test we had originally requested.
If you have money, life is better. Maybe that is good news in the end because if we manage to obtain money, atleast there is a solution. There is no question HMOs suck! Insurance companies with normal doctors are getting worse too. It is harder and harder to get what you need.

I'm lucky in that I have a doctor that cares and goes out of his way to ensure I get the best possible care. Other's aren't so lucky. We pay just under a grand a month for two of us on medical insurance. Yet we have to wait to the last pill to get a script filled. And the insurance won't pay when the drugstore can't count or something else goes wrong.

Walgreens (local drug store) won't fill a script without insurance company approval. I have to throw a fit to get the drugs even with cash inhand and an open script.

Not sure you can blame all this on Bush, it started getting worse before he got to office. And he has been so busy with that war you know.
