I'm not a doctor or anything, but if he took steroids... it sounds like something he took shut him down pretty bad and his natural levels of testosterone never got back to normal.
there are always extreme cases of everything and i've read about people 'shutting down' for over a year (even with the proper post cycle treatment).
but if the docs didnt catch that then i dunno wtf is goin on...
sucks to be him... maybe he needs some viagra or cialis?
