Ok, well if you insist that there's a moral imperative to eliminate ruthless dictators like that, then let's work our way through the whole world.
I say we start with the Saudis and then work our way through Africa....and by the way, guess who gets to pay for that? It'll cost a fuck of a lot more than sending kids to college, which you so vehemently oppose.
Let me ask you a question. Should every child have a right to attend elementary school? Junior High School? Or should the only kids who get to go be the ones whose parents can afford private schools and the rest of the kids will be ok because you think they can somehow just "be performers"??
Paying for all of our kids to go to college is really just extending education in our country for another 2 to 4 years, since we're already paying for every child to have the first 12 years.
That's not an unreasonable thing to do considering how much more our kids need to learn to compete in the global marketplace.
