In WWII it's wasn't just the "Germans" or the "Japanese", it was an Axis power.
Fucking up Iraq's shit is much the same. Removing elements that foster hatred against Americans and plain freedom needs to be stopped wherever it lies.

Guess how many countries hate Americans now after Bush, than before Bush, due to his lack of concern for what the rest of the world thinks.. The plain and simple fact is no American likes Saddam, but we do not have the right to tell the world to fuckoff and eliminate him.. what would stop Bush from doing it to whoever he wants? What you say makes sense, however, it fails to take into account the bigger picture.
To use your analogy of WW2, guess why the UN was formed.. to prevent another ww2, to prevent people from interacting in other countries affairs, to create a league of nations where the world can decide how to intervene in a singular country.
This league Bush ignored after support for his idea was weak. Do I think Saddam is a bad guy.. yes? Do I think he should be out.. yes? Do I think we should do this on our own without support of the UN... no. Was Saddam a threat.. ready for the answer.. NO - he had no WMDs, and we really had no reason to be there, the threat was minimal and definitely didnt warrant a war. and those are the facts.
