I can shoot for you and my time and equipment will cost you around one buck per picture.... BUT, you have to supply the location and the model.
See my little text about cost effectiveness of custom shoots:
http://www.dfeynman.com/fee_schedule.htm
I charge 65$ per hour for my time.
Then, I add 220$ to cover for my commute time, mileage, gas, parking and for my equipment (it would cost you 344$ to rent the same package for a day, pick it up, return it AND you'd have to give a refundable 4500$ deposit on your credit card on top of the cost to guarantee the equipment).
That's why I have a different rate for the first two hours of shoot than for the hours after.
My fee is ON TOP of location and model costs.
Now, what you want is NOT glamour, but softcore. There is very limited nudity in glamour. For glamour, look at Vogue magazine.
Let's make a quick estimage.
Let's assume a four hours of shooting, 10 sets, in nice-looking surrounding. Her's the cost breakdown: (in Canadian dollars)
Photographer: 480
Hotel room: 150-200 (daytime rental only)
girl: 500$
make-up girl: 150
at least one assistant: 75
various expenses (food, other parking, etc) 30
So, that totals out to about 1350-1400 $
If you shoot 2000 pics, of which only 100 are of shitty-porn standard quality, your per-pic cost is 1.40 CDN per pic, so about 1.07 USD per pic.
These pics can then be sold as non-exclusive content at about 0.25$-0.35% per pic for at least ten times. Taking into consideration the opportunity cost (building the content selling business) and 0.25$ per pic, we can get at least 2$ per pic without ever surrendering the rights. The inventory can later be resold in bulk, or for galleries, when it's been milked to death.
Prices of images varies widely. I've seen very hot images go for a cumulative 6$ per pic without rights (under limited distribution) to crappy images going for 0.15 cents per image.
But don't get discouraged...
Asking for 1$ per pic is not unrealistic, there is shit priced in that range, but you'll get the exact value of what you pay for. Or you might find a sucker bailing out of the business who's willing to sell his inventory for less than it cost him to produce. Keep asking around.
I wish you good luck with your endeavour !
