Hey all - the problem has been fixed and sales are reporting properly now.
To make a long story short, basically what happened is that two servers that handle the stats in coordination with each other had a breakdown in reporting from one to the other; the sales data was still being tracked/logged by the one server, it just wasn't communicating the data to the other server. No data was lost, the stats have been updated, and everything has returned to normal now.
