If you have the cancellation receipt, print it out along with anything else you have relating to it, like statements of your account showing that they continued to charge you and whatnot.... make a copy of every single piece of paper you got on the matter. Then send it all to the bank or credit card company that they're billing, and report it as a fraudulent charge. They will get on it. Most will put it into an "investigation" for anywhere from 60 to 120 days. Usually they will credit the money back to you while the investigation is ongoing, and tell you at such time when it is completed they will either leave the money in your account or redebit your account if the claim is false.
This has happened to me a few times for different things, and I have ALWAYS gotten my money back plus interest. If you're in the right, you have nothing to fear.
You might wanna contact the hosting company and explain the situation to them as well and ask that they refund you first. This will be one of the questions your CC company is going to ask you.
