If you have a hard drive cooling unit, you should be fine. With any of the faster 10-15K RPM drives, it's best to have a cooling unit, it'll DEFINATELY add live to your hard drive. I bought a Vantec Vortex and it does a wonderful job -

The only downfall about that model is that you have to manually turn it on with your system, however, it's second nature to turn it on right after I hit the power button.
