I made it home alive....unfortunately no pics

Let's see......started my day off at 4:30am (after going to bed at 3am), got up showered then took a taxi downtown to meet my pickup at a hotel.

Made my way like a zombie through some Coffee plantatiuon tour, then onto breakfast. Another 45 mins later, I was standing about 50 feet away from the largest volcanic crater (diameter over a mile!) in the world. Paos volcano.

This was extremely cool, as there was a kind of small lake in the crater that was glowing neon green (think Slimer from ghostbusters color). There was also some neon green steam rising up from the ground. Overall very cool sight to behold.

Next was the walk back down, then off into a LONG walk into the jungle, in a place that may or may not have been where some JUrassic Park scenes were filmed (most of the movie was filmed in Costa Rica). Came across and got snapshots of 5 breath-taking waterfalls and some jungle animal life. Had fun grunting at the Howler monkeys and having them reply

Then came lunch (pineapple and Iguana lasagna). Drove on over to Sarapiquai River, to head onto the river. We searched and searched but the crocs were not out today, only 1 smaller Cayman . Saw some wild animals like King Fisher, white-faced monkeys, baboons, Jesus Christ Lizards (runs across water on two feet), few others...

Rafting I was trying to snap a pic of some rapids as we hit them, but lost my cam

Although we didn't find crocs, I know they are in there somewhere so I wasn't going to jump in after it heh....besides the water was dark, I didn't want to end up in Anaconda

Atleast the cam was cheap.....I'm more pissed about not having the pics, guess I'll have to go back next week
