he said he was looking for an accountant that will "do adult" - he did not say "i need someone to file my personal income taxes".
if you have a company and you are filing taxes for that company, there is no possible way in hell your accountant cannot know what you do, where money comes from and what it's spent on unless he is retarded and incompetent. not only that, his job is to lower your taxes... i.e. he has to know what you do, what expenses you have etc. to better determine what you can write off and what you can't... and should be giving you advice on how to structure both your business and your finances to minimize the tax liability.
