They did rise, now they don't only check blacks and hispanics, they check middle-easterners too.

It's not like they're pulling people off the street and holding them against their will... oh wait, they are.

But it's not like it is in like... well, everywhere else BUT here.

The only thing the terrorist attacks did here in NYC was make everyone nicer to each other; the cops are actually paying more attention and crime has gone down a lot.

But it's still America, it's still the Land of The Free, and it's still my home and I have, I do, and I will always feel safe in New York City. (waves american flag, plays the national anthem)

Out of New York City however... I don't feel safe at all, but that's different.
