COPA isn't in effect. *YET*.
Why are we waiting for something like COPA to wake up and self regulate this industry? If the changes for 2257 isn't a wake up call, I don't know what it is.

I completely agree with you on this. For years I have been an advocate of NO NUDITY IN FREE AREAS OF WEBSITES. Glamour/swimsuit content can easily get guys to sign up for the good stuff. You don't NEED nudity on free sites to make money. Unfortunately, if you have a business plan like that, the ONLY traffic you will be able to get is from the SEs. No TGP or link list will list a non-node site or gallery.
Unfortunately, I don't really see adult webmasters coming together on this any time soon. Besides, even if the big sites did, there are just way too many little guys who will break the rules to get an advantage. And then there are the non-US webmasters. Why should they change just because the US still lives in the dark ages.
Eventually, the government will find a way to drive most of us out of business, which is why I have never advocated webmasters quitting their day jobs completely (unless they just hate them that much).
