Actually it's not, I live in Florida, yes legal age is 16, but ONLY if you are under 18 years of age, ie: 16 and a 17 year old have sex.
Under 18 years of age, the person must be within 7 years of their age, ie: she is 16 you are 23 years old.

When they say a 16 year old can have sex, they mean a EMANCIPATED female of 16 years of age or older. You must be at least 16 to be married in Florida, so hence the legal age is 16 to have sex with your husband and NOT have ANY charges pressed by anyone.
Go fuck a 16 year old, then tell her parents you did it, and be 21 or 22. You'd be in jail by that night if they wanted it so.
