When the oven is at 500degrees, remove the pan from the oven and put it on the stove top with the burner on high. Put the steak on the hot pan, flip after a minute or so, cook for another minute or so, then put the pan with steak on it back in the hot oven. Roast it in the oven for 3 or 4 minutes, remove it and wrap it in aluminum foil for another 5 minutes to let it rest.
