Having never lived under a dictatorial regime I might have a different opinion... But I feel that if
my country was invaded and personal liberties changed as much as they did after Sadaam was removed I think I would be more interested in taking advantage of my newfound opportunities to profit from the change myself.
Lest you get the wrong impression, I'm not a war supporter. However, if you are there you have to be careful what messages are sent to the world as different people will take them completely differently. Even though I don't support Bush's war I
do support the government's hardline stance of not negotiating with terrorists...and YES, I am referring to people who choose to get their way through violence instead of organizing their input to a new democratic system terrorists.
