Email I received concerning Eroticy.com
I received this email through the main email address at http://www.webmastervault.com
What do you think?
Dear Mr. President
This letter is to inform you of a company you may want to check out from the Internet, a porn chat site that utilizes fake members to lure unsuspecting customers into paying monthly fees. This site uses porn stars, and fake accounts in their chat room, banning those that dare challenge the authenticity of the member.
Eroticy.com, (aka Webcapades), has run this operation for several years, but lately, many members have written my site http://hometown.aol.com/steffysplace/index.html, which has many links to complaints filed against this company.
In letters written directly to Lisa of Eroticy, none have rendered a response.
Eroticy uses these fake members, (one is the dearly departed Shauna Grant), and acts as though they are the member themselves, making unsuspecting men unknowingly pay for something that is bogus.
While in chat, words such as fake, paid, and several others are not permitted and instantly filtered to reflect what Eroticy wants to be written. The Chat master, CM as known in the room, bans people at will, usually right after the monthly fee has been debited from one?s credit card or bank account. The CM also PM?s women, (I am one), and states that her account will be banned unless nude pictures are posted on her account. It was shortly after this that my account of almost 2 years was banned when I refused to post such pictures.
If one of the members dares to ask about the realism of a member, that questioning party is abruptly banned for life.
Eroticy also illegally uses members pictures on 2 of their other sites, even though the member is unaware of their picture being posted on either site.

Are all Eroticy owned, and have posted pictures from members that have no clue their picture even exists on any of these sites.
I have also received letters from Porn Industry affiliates that have written to my site, and agree with everything I state on my web site.
I am sending this letter to every Eroticy sponsor, congress, every porn site that I can attain through my computer, the Better Business Bureau, all search engines, as well as posting it onto my web site.
If you feel this is the proper way to run a site that children can access by simply answering NO to the question, ARE YOU 18 YEARS OR OLDER, then the Internet industry needs to form new laws to protect our children and avoid unsuspecting consumers from being purposely ripped off.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter.
Sincerely,
SoftandSteffy
