This Texas anti-sextoy case should have been a landmark case, but ends up just being a "we don't have time for this" case. It's too bad that the law was not challenged and thrown out. This ruling only means that it will be visited in court another day...
Personally, we ship to Texas (unlike some of our competitors) and always have. We always expected to go to the mat some day over our decisions to ship anywhere within the United States - but nothing has ever happened.
I'm glad for the defendant - if you have never had to sit in court and let a jury decide if you committed an obscenity then you are lucky.
I've had the pleasure twice and I don't wish it on anyone - BUT, this is our business and no one is going to tell us we can't do it.
