I never felt it was CJ's or even Rick's problem/responsibility. I think the ones who should be defending themselves are those who committed the act, and those of which who filmed the act. Not the person bringing to light their actions.
The proverbial "Hey, don't shoot the messanger" comes to mind.
Still a sick sad story nevertheless. However in either case, it makes no difference if CJ removes the link or not. Why? Because we were all blessed with "thought" (well some of us). And with this "thought" process, we've something known as discretion. With discretion you've choices. In this case, I advised myself, viewing this video wouldn't be suitable for myself.
Thus, I didn't watch it. Wow, cool concept. If you don't like something, do not view it. Allow those titillated with animal cruelty to view it, no big deal. As long as it's not forced on you.
And for those not "titillated", but were just "curious of what everyone is talking about. Too damn bad, because you know what they say;
