Not sure what else going on that weekend. I do have two mid-level suites reserved at the MGM in case I don't come up with something else.

I'm taking my 20 year old son and his 19 year old GF. My 17 year old and his best friend may come along...but he's claiming he'd be bored if he did. I'm not a big gambler (slots and roulette, primarily ..and each time I've ended up leaving with more $ than I arrived with).

We're planning arriving on a Friday morning, seeing David Copperfield one night, Phil Collins on Saturday and Celine Dion on Sunday.. leaving Monday afternoon. The two teens are interested in messing around at the Stratosphere, checking out Gameworks, some shopping, etc. Likely not going to be much pooltime and the like. I had thought the MGM would be good because it's the last stop on the new monorail.

With the kids going I don't want anyplace that comes across too ..hmm..snobby...ritzy..not sure how to explain it. More comfortable and laid back. If it were just me...or myself and another adult.. I'd opt for something different if it were available.
Ok..
Look into the MGM then.
If the Suites are sold then look to the Veneitan then.
Look at the Bella Suites.

Want to stay away from that snobby feel then stay away from the Beligio.

Its kinda older people there. Has the Snob feel if you will.

Venetian is pretty balanced attack. Also shops there that all ages like. And its classy yet not snobby.
