I had a phone call where the guy identified himself as being from a Melbourne-based (Australia) security company, ie the same city that I live in.

The caller ID on my phone said "OVERSEAS," there was a noticeable satellite delay, and the guy had a very strong Indian-like accent.

It was definitely not a local call.
