I'd have to say an extremely high percentage are men posing as women ...
I do a lot of chat room promo and the number of men posing as women is phenomenal ...
It's interesting to see they perpetuate the charade when they join sites as well ...
I have two theories as to why this is such a big phenomenon ...
1) In chat rooms, for example, men are always fighting for the attention of the few women, if any, who are there ...
By posing as women ... they get that attention instead of begging for it ...
2) Let's face it ... there's a ton of closet gays on the net. Those guys would die before admitting it, but I suspect that posing as women fulfills their secret homosexual fantasies in some way ...
Just my two cents based upon my experience with countless hours of chat promo ... LOL
