I've been saying this in a similar way for years now on these boards. You see people coming on here all the time yelling that so-and-so didn't pay them or somebody didn't deliver work that has already been payed for etc. That's why sometimes the character and integrity that people put forth in their posts means a lot rather than nothing at all.
Sometimes it's all we have to go on to be able to judge the worth of someone's character and their trustworthiness to do business with. If someone is posting like an arrogant asshole all the time and you choose to do business with them anyway, you get what you deserve.
Choose business associates wisely, deal only with recommended reputable people who are solid, who have been around forever. For me I do most of my work myself for my own needs and for that of a few others, but if I were in the market for design and programming services my list of reliable trusted "no-shit" contacts would be pretty short.
