I lived in Margate(2 miles from AC) for 2 years and worked @ The Trop. Of course it is not Las Vegas but it has some great things to do.
My family has a boat @ Trump Marina. the outside bar the deck is pretty cool and has live music every day.
The Borgata is the shit..the gypsee bar is alot of fun and it is a great place to gamble. their spa is great! if you like poker harrah's also has nice poker rooms that are separate from the hussle of the casino.
If you like the beach go to ventnor or margate(walking distance from Ac). Also tons of bars in margate
If you do not mind a dry town go to Ocean City for the boardwalk and make sure you buy some johnson carmel popcorm!
