Most don't want the lifestyle change that comes with the fatkins diet either. The plan I layed out is the one that has been touted by food experts and health care officials for centuries, it has stood the test of time since humans walked the Earth. Period.
All the atkins diet and other fads like it do is appeal to overweight people who are unwilling to exercise. These diets claim that diet, not exercise, is the answer, when that couldn't be farther from the truth.
The sad fact for overweight people is this: You need to exercise. Coupled with a SENSIBLE FUCKING DIET, it is the ultimate weight loss plan.
Aerobic exercise is great, but even a few long walks per week, maybe throw in the odd bike ride..... how about a walk to the store instead of driving?..... that's enough exercise to make a difference in one's life. It doesn't have to be a 5 mile run every morning.
