I wouldn't want Billy's source. There are plenty of much more capable operating systems out there which offer source access. I was simply pointing out that your argument doesn't hold water.
The figures that I've seen for Linux use at home generally are in the 2%-3% range. I suggest you pick up a copy and try it out. You can get a LiveCD distribution such as Knoppix and boot it directly off the CD. You don't have to install it on your hard drive to test it out.
There are tons of choices when you step into the open source realm, and that is what helps protect it, and is also most overwhelming at first. The problem with switching operating systems, is change scares most people. They become entrenched in their ways of thinking and doing things.
