I've been hosted on Choopa for a few months now. Very nice and easy going. I've had a couple of very minor problems with server setup, but all of that is straightened out now, they really took care of me and I'm rocking now.
Their network is very good. I've never seen it down yet.
I also had a couple of people who love them, they actually recommended them to me, so there's more credit to them.
I'd say go for it, you'll be glad you did.
