This is exactly what car dealerships do -- wake up! Do you think they just make money selling the cars! Ahaha... If I have to spell it out for you I will.
In the future they are even pushing to sell the cars with attached services -- like Mercedes wireless remote repair diagnosis and service.
Beyond the service, financing, upgrades, anti-theft devices, cleaning products, toys, clothing, etc. etc... a car manufacturer is also selling sex appeal and status...

A long time ago -- people were even afraid that cameras would replace painting! Before cameras were invented somebody had to spend hours and hours painting a naked chick to jerk off to! No joke.
