In life, I have many friends that are married, that don?t mean we're all having affairs. Maybe the notes or emails were more than a friendly hi? From the sounds of your posts, maybe this is the case here. Anyway, that shouldn't result in getting beat up or worse. The police may or may not give a shit when you tell them she's a married lady??? People chill over time. So the longer it goes the better.
If you buy a guy, get trained on its use. If he made a threat, you can always file something against him in court. You'd have to prove it up though. That action would document the problem though and make it harder to do something to you without being a suspect. A statement is all it takes in most states to file an *Adult Abuse* action. That's done at the courthouse, not the police station here. I'm not an attorney.
