the resolution of the hubble telescope on the moon is approx 150m/pixel, which isn't small enough to pic up our trash on the moon.
There is also a mirror we put on the moon that lazers can be bounced off of.

99' images, you won't find any after the 02' upgrade. tells a lot, doesn't it.
apollo 11/14/15 placed mirrors on the moon's surface. the last time a laser was sent from earth to those "mirrors on the moon" was back in 85'. this was way before Reagan's starwars program, so technology wasn't at the edge. the laser used back in 85' would have left a spot of 250 meter (diagonal). todays lasers could do it with a 5 meter diagonal spot, but too bad that mankind still can not build a mirror flat enough to reflect that laser beam.
