The US $ helps Israel but Egypt is also given $2 - 3 billion per year also. They have not rivalled Israel's success.
When the land was partitioned by the UN, the Palis were given most of the best arable land (with those olive groves) whilst the Jews got the Negev desert, which they then turned into an oasis.
Palis, and other Muslims, hate the Jews because the Jews, according to Islam, are the "sons of apes and pigs" but Allah seems to have given them all the best guns and the most success. So you go figure.
And why don't all Jews live in Israel? THe same reason that all British don't live in Britain and all Americans don't live in America.
