Here's something to think about...

If a dialler company pays its telecoms provider based on billing to the nearest second, and pays its affiliates based on billing to the nearest minute rounded down, how much additional income does it make?

Just wondering because I'm doing pretty well with a dialler program (which one is irrelevant) but I noticed all the figures are in whole numbers of minutes.

I'm not saying they definitely get billed to the second, but I imagine if they're doing millions of minutes a month they probably have a sharper "sales analysis tool" than the minute, when it comes to paying their provider.

I'm not going to call it "shaving" (hey, I said I'm *happy* with the provider) - it's just curiosity...
