I HATE moving. I had a brainstorm the last time I moved and decided to get all new furniture and donate the old stuff so I didn't have to move as much.
The problem is that I'm in a area where no one will deliver to
So I had to get everything delivered to the old house (which thankfully was big since I had 2 houses worth of furniture in it) and then moved by the moving company to the new house.
The big van couldn't make it up and down my driveway so they had to park at the top and rent a U-Haul to make short trips up and down. It took all day, cost about $2K and was worth every penny not to have to deal with it myself
If I ever move from here, I'll more than likely sell the house furnished.
