I can't stand people who buy SUVs with no intention of ever taking them offroad. They're unsafe for both the occupants and anyone who's unlucky enough to be hit by one. Their fuel economy doesn't even deserve to be classified as fuel economy, good or bad; it's just fucked. And maybe it's just me, but the majority of them can't drive for shit and should never be allowed in front of the wheel of any vehicle ever again.
There is no advantage to buying an SUV if you intend to do nothing more than drive to work with it. Buy a fucking station wagon if you want some room. And jesus christ, the costs. Tyres, maintenance, and you'd better hope someone doesn't drive into the back of you, because your repair costs are goign to be two or three times what you pay on a regular car for similar damage.
I can't believe how stupid people are. It's gotten to the point where Landrover have actually released a "Town" and "Country" version of their Discovery. Anyone buying the town version may as well rubber stamp "retard" on their forehead, and the majority of people that buy the country version just didn't want their mates laughing at them, but you know they'll never take it off road either.
